Originally built in 1828 as Sir Edward Barnes’ colonial bungalow and transformed into a grand hotel in 1891, The Grand Hotel stands as a timeless landmark reflecting British Tudor architecture, complete with half‑timbered facades, hardwood floors, fireplaces, and formal lawns.
Today, it offers 154 rooms, including Deluxe, Junior, Presidential, Gregory’s, and Queen Elizabeth suites, each blending classic decor with modern amenities such as heating, flat-screen TVs, minibars, tea/coffee facilities, fireplaces or heaters, all-en-suite.
